I got into fitness and personal training because I’ve always loved the idea of being able to build my body to suit whatever goal I have in mind. I enjoy challenging myself and being able to see myself slowly accomplish things I wasn’t able to months or weeks before.
I love empowering others to learn how to maximize their body and helping them figure out how to unlock new achievements. I give some tough love because I like for my clients to get results. I hold them accountable to their commitment because otherwise I feel like I’m not doing my job as their trainer. I love the daily interactions and learning something new every session; I could do it all day, every day and not get sick of it.
My preferred training style is strength performance and functional training. I like to work one-on-one with clients or in small groups of 3-4 people. I think it’s beneficial to start with learning the fundamental movements through whichever modality is most efficient for each individual person, then from there progress accordingly. This allows them to build foundational strength and movement patterns before they start diving into functional training.
I have been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer for seven years and have experience working with all ages and all goal types ranging from weight loss and functionality to muscle/strength gain.
